The majority of the book is a field guide to fantasy mushrooms by the fictional mycologist E. Q. Wintergarden, with all 216 entries lavishly illustrated in traditional watercolours. In the back is an appendix with guidelines on the mechanical use of the fungi in your fantasy role-playing game of choice.
